A lifelong dog lover, Donna started serious obedience training while studying Animal Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Her dogs have achieved numerous titles, including UDs, Rally Master, PACH in agility, Trick Dog Performer, Barn Hunt Champion (RATCH), and FCAT in lure coursing.
Inspired by Dr. Patricia McConnell and Suzanne Clothier, Donna’s focus on brain function and animal behavior creates enjoyable training experiences for dogs and students alike. She emphasizes that scientific research is vital for effective practice and believes teachers should make it relatable for all.
