Doug began his journey in dog training and dog sports in 2013 with his puppy Torch.  That journey has included many tricks performances including the first AKC Stunt Dog Nationals in 2018 where Torch was the first dog ever to earn the AKC Stunt Dog Champion title.  Doug and Torch have also competed in many NACSW, AKC, UKC and C-Wags nosework events including a 6th place finish in a 2019 NASCW Summit trial.

Doug Howell is a For Your K9 nosework instructor who loves watching new students, both people AND dogs, get into and learn nosework. He is also an active UKC judge.

Doug is a Chemist by day and enjoys boating in his spare time.
