Once upon a time, in a land not so far away, there lived a remarkable soul named Bri – a woman whose life was as wild and unpredictable as the dogs she trained. With a heart as big as the great outdoors and a sense of humor that could make even the grumpiest cat crack a smile, Bri was a force to be reckoned with in the world of four-legged friends.
Born and raised amidst a cacophony of barks and howls, Bri’s journey into the world of dog training began at an early age. While other kids were playing with dolls and action figures, Bri was busy convincing the neighbor’s poodle to sit, stay, and roll over – much to the chagrin of said poodle’s owner.
As she grew older, Bri’s passion for pups only intensified. Armed with a pocketful of treats and an endless supply of patience, she set out to conquer the canine kingdom, one wagging tail at a time. But it wasn’t just any dogs that caught Bri’s attention – oh no. She had a knack for working with the scared and nervous, the misunderstood misfits of the doggy world. With a twinkle in her eye and a clicker in hand, Bri transformed timid terriers into confident canines and anxious Aussies into zen-like zenens. She was like the dog whisperer, only sassier and with a much better fashion sense.
But Bri’s talents didn’t stop there. In addition to her work with domestic dogs, she also held a rather unusual position with the county forest preserves – as the resident coyote whisperer. Yes, you heard that right. Bri was the only person brave (or perhaps crazy) enough to take on the challenge of training a coyote. And let’s just say, it was a wild ride from start to finish.
When she wasn’t communing with coyotes or charming chihuahuas, Bri could be found at home with her own furry companions – Harley and Bubba. Harley, a spirited husky-pit mix with a penchant for mischief, and Bubba, a lovable Coonhound lab mix with a heart of gold, were more than just pets to Bri – they were family. Together, the trio embarked on all sorts of adventures, from agility competitions to barn hunts, nose work to trick training. There was never a dull moment in Bri’s household, that’s for sure.
