Bonnie Gutzwiler

A Barn-hunt instructor at For Your K9, Bonnie has worked and volunteered in the dog world for over 15 years. She loves seeing teams learn and grow, and lists helping more seasoned teams overcome training issues to become successful at trial as one of the best parts of her job. Bonnie also serves as a CWAGS rally/obedience/scent work judge as well as an AKC scent work judge.

Her pack includes Emoji (Australian Cattle Dog), Risky (Belgian Malinois), Zeus (German Shepherd), Kahvi (Corgi), Bandit (Mixed Breed) and Picasso, Finn, Hawk, Toby (Border Collies). They enjoy barn hunt, dock diving, scent work, disc, obedience, rally, tracking, conformation and shed hunt together.

Bonnie lives on a small farm in rural Kendall county, where there is tons of room for her dogs to run and play. Though taking care of the farm keeps her busy, she does also enjoy traveling, hiking, reading and volunteering at the Brookfield Zoo and Indiana Dunes National Park.
